TANK 1: Fish Added - 18 April 2005
I added another 10 Chinese Barbs and 4 Mountain Cloud Minnows to the Yabby Tank today. There has already been one casualty with 1 Mountain Cloud Minnow becoming food to the Yabbies. It is extremely difficult to know if any of the Chinese Barbs have become Yabby prey as they move to quickly to count accurately.
I cleaned the filter out again today, did a pH test and correction, and cleaned the glass on the inside of the tank as the Yabbies appear to quickly mess up the water.
I have begun thinking that I need another tank for the Yabbies so that I can keep what have become very interesting fish in this main tank (Chinese Barbs and Mountain Cloud Minnows).
