TANK 5: Angel Fish Spawn - 30 June 2005
I arrived home from a few days away to find that the two large Golden Angel Fish had spawned again, with some of the eggs already hatched and young fry on the leaf where the eggs were laid. What I decided to do was remove the leaf with the eggs and fry and place it in the hospital/quarantine tank (having previously removed the young Wagtail Platies).
As I removed the leaf the Golden Angel Fish violently attacked my hands, but all to no avail as the leaf was removed and placed in a safer tank. There seems to be a number of fry that have survived so a good result appears certain.
