WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:

INTRODUCTION:

Broken Head Nature Reserve preserves an area of almost 100 hectares of coastal subtropical rainforest in an area just south of Byron Bay (6km) and Broken Head. This area is an important remnant of the original 'Big Scrub' of this region.

The reserve is accessed via Seven Mile Beach Road from Broken Head.

WALKING:

Kings Beach Track:

The Kings Beach Track is a short 350m walk off the Seven Mile Beach Road to Kings Beach. The walk passes through beautiful rainforest and leads to the outstanding Kings Beach.

Two Sisters Walking Track:

The Two Sisters Walking Track leads off from the Broken Head Caravan Park and follows the cliff top around to a viewing platform on Broken Head. Cocked Hat Rocks are clearly visible from Broken Head. These two rocks form an important part of the Bundjalung Dreamtime.
