WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:
Burrendong State Conservation Area in central-west NSW is found on the edge of Lake Burrendong. It includes both Lake Burrendong Park and Mookerawa Waters Park. The State Conservation Area (Lake Burrendong Park) is found 27km south-east of Wellington and 110km north of Orange, off the Mitchell Highway. Mookerawa Waters Park is further south, 10km east of Stuart Town on the Mumbil-orange Road.
The Burrendong SCA has picnic and BBQ facilities, a kiosk, cabin and caravan park, etc. Camping is also available. The caravan park has three amenities blocks. Bush camping can also be done at Eagle Beagle.
