WHAT'S ON THIS PAGE:

INTRODUCTION:

Kanangra Boyd National Park is found alongside the Blue Mountains National Park and preserves some 68 000 hectares of rugged wilderness.

CAMPING:

Boyd River Camping Area:

The Boyd River Camping Area is reached via Oberon or Jenolan Caves, along Kanangra Walls Road. It is located on the Boyd River, some 6km from Kanangra Walls. There are toilets, BBQs and firewood provided.

WALKING:

Lookout Walk:

Lookout Walk is probably the easiest of all the walks being a 10 minute walk to 2 lookouts overlooking the Kanangra Creek Gorge and Kanangra Falls.

Waterfall Walk:

Waterfall Walk begins at the second lookout mentioned above and the tracks leads down to where Kalang Falls reach the valley floor.

Plateau Walk:

This walk leads off the Lookout Walk to the Kanangra Plateau and Tops.
