What's on this Page:

INTRODUCTION:

STREAKY BAY:

There is a caravan park (phone 08 8626 1666) at Streaky Bay.

THE GRANITES:

The Granites are located on the Westall Way, which is accessed between Sceale Bay and Streaky Bay. The rock pool at the base of the sand hill is worth investigating. The surf here is considered as very good also (but I'm no surfer).

Camping is also available here, with a pit toilet provided, as well as a shelter.

SCEALE BAY:

Sceale Bay is not quite Streaky Bay, being some 32km from Streaky Bay, yet it is still very much worth a visit when in the area. Sceale Bay is reached via a dirt road from Streaky Bay. There is a caravan park (phone 08 8626 5099) at the southern end of the bay, which has a small shop and fuel.

SURFER'S BEACH:

Surfer's beach is found down the beach from Sceale Bay toward Streaky Bay. This is a very sandy beach which, as the name suggests, is supposed to be very good for surfers of all stages.

POINT LABATT CONSERVATION PARK:

This area is known for its great rugged coastline views and its Australian Sea-lions. There is an observation area allowing visitors to watch the sea-lions at a safe distance.
